I normally ride goofy, and while practicing riding switch I'm having a tough time generating as much propulsion with my left leg as with my right leg.
I assume this is normal at first, but it makes me wonder: are experienced freeskaters able to pump and maneuver equally well with both feet? More generally: is riding switch eventually supposed to feel just as natural as non-switch, or will there always be a discrepancy?
Update: Ah I found http://www.jenkemmag.com/home/2017/10/12/determines-skate-stance/ , a very interesting article that discusses footedness in other skating sports and dancing. Bottom line: ultimately just a matter of practice.
